First post graduation job in architecture & lab design- Research Facilities Design (RFD) in San Diego.  Many thanks to mentors Malcolm Barksdale, AIA, and Rick Heinz, FAIA. 

1986:
Started planning and designing labs (Eccles/HHMI project above) while employed as a design intern at FFKR Architects in Salt Lake City, Utah, while also attending the University of Utah as an M.Arch. candidate. Many thanks to Ken Louder, AIA, who hired me at FFKR, and gave me the opportunity to start my career path as a Laboratory Architect.

1983:
Graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a degree in Art & Design.
Many thanks to my mentor professors Alex Darais, Professor of Design, and Mark Hamilton, Professor of Art & Architecture History.
